If you attend for an appointment that will require an intimate examination, a chaperone may be present. You may bring a friend or relative to the appointment to act as your chaperone. If the doctor or nurse feels that a chaperone is advisable then they will be unable to perform the procedure without one. This policy is designed to protect both patients and staff.
If you would like a chaperone present during your consultation please advise us when booking your appointment, when checking-in, or at any point during your consultation.
