New Patient Registration: Important Information about Healthtech-1

At Drybrook Surgery, we are always looking for ways to improve our services and make joining our practice as quick, accurate, and simple as possible.

To help us process online patient registrations efficiently, we have partnered with a secure, NHS-approved service called Healthtech-1.

What does this mean for you?

If you have recently registered with us online, you may receive a text message (SMS) or email from Healthtech-1.

  • These messages are 100% genuine and safe to respond to.
  • They are sent on our behalf to help complete your registration.
  • Healthtech-1 may contact you to verify your identity, locate your NHS number, ask you to complete a brief medical questionnaire, or let you know your registration has been successfully completed.

Is my data secure?

Yes, absolutely. Your privacy and data protection are our highest priorities:

  • Drybrook Surgery remains the Data Controller, and Healthtech-1 acts as our contracted Data Processor. This means they only process your information strictly under our direction and instruction.
  • All data is processed in complete compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Alternative registration options

If you prefer not to use our digital registration service or do not want your data processed by Healthtech-1, you can still register manually. Simply visit our reception desk to collect and fill out a paper registration form. This will not affect your right to register with us.

Our practice privacy policy has been updated to reflect these secure data-sharing arrangements. You can view our full Privacy Notice on our website at drybrooksurgery.nhs.uk.

If you have any questions or need assistance registering, please do not hesitate to contact our team:

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us make our registration process faster and safer for everyone!
