Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) makes sure hospitals, care homes, dental and GP surgeries, and all other care services in England provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care, and encourage them to make improvements where possible.

They do this by inspecting services and publishing the results on their website: www.cqc.org.uk

You can use the results to help you make better decisions about the care you, or someone you care for, receives.

Our CQC Inspection

Our GP Practice has recently been taken over on 01/06/2023 by 3 new Partner’s, Dr Anna Raymond, Nurse Practioner Katie Dyer and Lead Nurse Nichola Winstanley.

This is currently on a six month caretaker basis as per the Integrated Care Board but the Partners are very much hoping to achieve the Permanent contract for the Surgery at the end of this time.

We have not as yet had an inspection but you can see a summary of our most recent report under the old Partnership: www.cqc.org.uk/location/1-552458551
